Rest Day (7/2/10)

There is not much to post about today. As you can tell from the title, we rested.. :)  The three american travelers slept in until 12:00pm and got off to a very lazy start.  We grabbed some croissants for breakfast and headed out to the local pool.  We spent the afternoon there just relaxing and reading in the sun.  It was a picturesque afternoon...you had Lake Geneva right in front of you with the Alps on the horizon and a crystal clear, refreshing pool behind you.  It was a wonderful way to rest after 4 jam packed days.  After the pool, we headed over to a turkish restaurant called The Anatolian.  (It is one of Uncle John's favorite places to go...)  The food was delicious and very different from the Italian food we had in Florence.  :)   There we got to watch the nail biting Ghana vs. Uruguay World Cup game and then headed back to the apartment for bed.  Not a very productive day, but just what we needed nonetheless.
