We made it safely with no real problems, thank the Lord. (Thank you for your prayers!) The travel was long and slightly uncomfortable, but we did get a fudge brownie :). It was weird to leave the USA at 6:30 pm and then arrive in Munich, Germany only 8 hours later at 8:30 am their time. (3:30 am Philly time) We had about a 1 hour lay over in Munich (very clean airport) and then flew over to Geneva. There we were met by all our baggage (yay!) and our host, John Farmer. We traveled by train to Morges where we are now stationed. It is a quaint, little city filled with beautiful old buildings, teeny cars, and the people are very friendly. And might I add it is very clean - even the graffiti is clean somehow. :) My uncle lives in a small, but adorable apartment right along main street and it is only about a block away from Lake Geneva. When we got to his apartment, we rested, got a tour of the town, bought groceries and ate an amazing dinner made by Uncle John. Afterwards, we planned our week and purchased our train tickets for our three day trip to Florence, Italy. We will be leaving tomorrow on the morning train for a 6 hour train ride and will be arriving in Florence around 2:00 in the afternoon. There we will stay until Thursday night. This means that we will not be posting anything until we come back due to a lack of computer. So please keep us in your prayers as we make our way to Italy tomorrow!!
Heading to bed now to try to catch up on some sleep,
Kelsey
